The Witcher 3 [WIP]

I didn't enjoy The Witcher 3 upon my first hour. I disliked it, I probably would've put it down if I wasn't hellbent on at least giving it a chance for my friend. I thought the combat was weird, the controls were janky and I came from playing Kingdom Come Deliverence 2, so I found the graphics a little bit underwhelming. I did not enjoy it until I was finally allowed out of White Orchard and into Velen. Then, suddenly, I was hooked. The Bloody Baron questline instantly hooked me, and the gameplay started to make sense and I played Gwent?! Geralt went from a protagonist I cared very little for into a man I call my babygirl, doodle on every surface possible and think about more than any person should. Yennefer became my crush and I found myself blushing whenever she was onscreen, and Ciri became a character I wanted to tuck into bed and feed soup.

White Orchard was a blur, I barely remember it, I disliked most of it and felt like I was playing a game far too easy, but far too janky. Then, I switched to Death Run pretty early on, and I started having fun. Having to use the potions and oils was fun? I enjoyed the slow, meticulous way I had to fight and I quickly found myself running a Wizard-Geralt build.
